Specific Situation

Is an employee about to return to work?

The return of an employee requires careful preparation, whether you are a manager, part of the team, or the employee themselves. Work2Care provides team-based support before and after the return, in collaboration with the manager.

At the same time, we offer individual support for the employee concerned. It is recommended to begin this support before the return and to continue follow-up for up to 6 months after the return.

This includes an 8-month support program combining preparation for return or assistance in maintaining employment, as well as ongoing managerial support to help identify and implement appropriate accommodations. In addition, a 2-hour team training session can be added.

Looking to better support your employees’ return after a period of absence?

Our training programs address the challenges of prolonged absences by preparing managers and teams for a colleague’s return. Managers and team members are guided in co-creating a reintegration process at work and in sharing best practices for effective support.

During team workshops, for example, we explore the roles and responsibilities of each stakeholder in a collective process, as well as communication guidelines at every stage of the absence and how to prepare for an employee’s return.

Finally, you will leave our workshops with practical advice to implement for the teams. These best practices are an integral part of initiatives focused on well-being, inclusion and caring management. They also strengthen employees’ sense of trust and transparency toward their employer, as well as the feeling of professional and social belonging.
